MacTavish

Welcome to the home of MacTavish Dundee Mor. I have developed a number of nicknames - Mac, Tavi, devil boy, chewboy, weasle, "the terror", kissey boy and smoochie. Until I was about 2-1/2 I loved to chew on ANYTHING, chase the cats and Alex (hey, they chase me too), give kisses, kisses & kisses and love to play.

On July 5th I was four years old. The picture of me framed above was actually taken on my 3rd birthday before we went out for my ice cream cone. I still look the same, probably have gained about two pounds since then though. I've gotten quite handsome don't you think?

Here is my Christmas 2010 picture with Santa. What do you think? I'm wearing a green and navy blue striped sweater this year. This was the only picture that I didn't have my tongue sticking out - mom wasn't too pleased with me over that one!

***** My History *****

I was born on July 5, 2007 at PPF Farms Kennel in Punxsutawney, PA. My new mommy learned I was here and healthy on July 9th. My Cairn mom is a 2-1/2 year old light brindle Cairn (who is more red as she aged) and my dad is a 2 year old light wheaten Cairn. The breeder lady Bobbi Jo kept my mom "in the loop" as to all that goes on with me and sent pictures of my parents so that we might know what I will look like when I grow up. Mom waited three weeks on pins and needles waiting to see if I would be born. There were two males and one female in the litter. When we pups were 2-3 weeks Bobbi Jo sent mom my first pictures. When I was four weeks old mom and grandma came with Alexander to pick out which of us would go home when it was time. Alexadner chose me, not once but twice and I chose mom. That day mom said a number of names when she was holding me, and when she called me MacTavish I started licking her neck and chin - so that's my name.

I came home at eight weeks of age and learned the house had not only Alexander but two other critters called cats. Padraig has become my buddy - must be the gaelic name thing.

That was a number of years back now, but life with Alexander and two kitty siblings is never dull. Mom still puts me in my playpen when she's not home - something about not being totally trustworthy yet. Although I am being pretty darned well behaved these days.

Stop by and check out my pictures, mom has been updating my photogalleries as time goes on. You will also find links to my pictures in the Two Terriers Photogallery Directory whenever you visit any of those pages.
